energy logging (e-log)is an impacc series iii add-in that enables one to track energy usage (kwh) and demand usage (kw) on a power system. the data gatherd by e-log can subsequently be used for billing purposes or to perform detailed energy utilization analysis.

e-log comes in either a stand alone version or an add-in to an existing series iii installation. once installed on the computer, the configuration screen, depicted below, becomes available for the user to specify when data is to be logged in demand intervals ranging from 1 minute to 60 minutes.

e-log is integrated withenergy billing (e-bill), an advanced energy billing software application that is a member of the impacc family of products. energy data gathered with e-log can be used directly by e-bill.

e-log is designed to leave open the option of using another billing software package. e-log stores data using an odbc-compliant database. this open architecture enables one to work with the data using other odbc-compliant database software.
