| modbus configurator is an application used to define modbus registers for a deviceserver.
a device server serves as an interface between impacc devices and a modbus master, and supports a subset of the
modbus protocol, which defines how data is transmitted across a serial bus. modbus configurator enables a deviceserver
to do the following: send polled device attributes to a modbus master send commands from a modbus master to impacc devices after one configures impacc devices to a deviceserver using device server configurator, one runs modbus configurator to configure modbus registers for the deviceserver. by configuring modbus registers, one enables communications between a modbus master and impacc devices through the deviceserver. the modbus master may then receive impacc device data and send control commands to impacc devices.  click on the modbus configurator icon for a screen shot of this client. |
