WHAT IS IT

The IMPCABLE was designed to be run in switchgear where codes require a 600V insulation rating. Typical "blue hose" cables are rated at 300V. The IMPCABLE is an 18 AWG cable with a 100 ohm impedance at 100 kHz tuned to work optimally with the Frequency Shift Key (FSK) signal from Cutler-Hammer devices.

The cable has been designed with characteristics that allow up to 1,000 devices or distances of up to 10,000 feet from the master. Please refer to the Cutler-Hammer wiring specification for instructions on cable runs and calculating maximum distances and devices on a given network.
