The Ethernet Master INCOM Network Translator (EMINT) enables communication between an Ethernet network master station and Cutler-Hammer products in a Master/Slave format over an Ethernet network. <-- Click Here for example application --> The EMINT is compatible with all Cutler-Hammer products that communicate over the Twisted Shielded Pair (TSP) using the Frequency Shift Key (FSK) INCOM protocol.
The Ethernet MINT is the ideal solution for local and/or remote communications with Cutler-Hammer communicating metering and protective relaying products. Put the EMINT on your desk next to your computer or put the EMINT in a substation and utilize your existing Ethernet LAN/WAN to bring information back to your local computer. This application minimizes wiring expenses and capitalizes on existing Ethernet infrastructure.
Up to 200 INCOM compatible devices are supported by each EMINT, allowing distances of up to 10,000 feet, following INCOM wiring specification version 1.1. The Ethernet Mint will offer one INCOM communication port, as well as one 10 Base-T Ethernet Port.
