Metering

The Digitrip3000 provides local and remote display of the phase and ground currents. In addition, the relay records the peak amp demand (5 min. window) on a per phase basis.

Applications

The Digitrip 3000 overcurrent relay provides complete phase and ground feeder circuit protection in a single package.

The relay has separate settings for phase and ground protection including CT ratio, curve shape selection, pick-up and time multipliers.

Ground protection can be connected to either the residual connection of the phase CT's or to a separate CT such as a BYZ flux balance CT. The relay has user selective curve shapes which permits fast and easy coordination with other devices.

The Digitrip 3000 overcurrent relay can be used to provide bus protection in conjunction with feeder protection. Bus protection is accomplished by connecting the relays in a zone interlocking scheme. This scheme does not require any additional CT's or relays.

All settings and metered values can be viewed from the front panel. Settings can be entered from either the front panel or remotely via the rear communication port. Settings can be changed while the breaker is closed and carrying load.

The Digitrip 3000 overcurrent relay can be connected and integrated into a remote monitoring and communication system such as the IMPACC System.
